The Melbourne Didgeridoo & Cultural Festival is an exciting and unique cultural event. Saturday 2nd. March 2013 from 10am to 10pm at Mia Mia Gallery, Templestowe.
Permission has been given for the Didgeridoo Festival to take place at the Mia Mia Aboriginal Arts Precinct by the traditional owners of the land and the traditional owners of Yidaki (Didgeridoo).
Prior to launching the Melbourne Didgeridoo and Cultural Festival, Colin McKinnon-Dodd took the opportunity to fly to Sydney and seek permission and endorsement for the festival from one of the Didgeridoo’s custodians, Djalu from N.E. Arnham Land, who was on a rare visit to Sydney. Read more >>
Enjoy a day of entertainment and activities for the whole family
The festival will be a day long celebration and showcase of one of the world’s oldest wind instruments, the didgeridoo. It will be a day of entertainment for the whole family with stalls, workshops, activities and a concert featuring world-class performers and musicians.
